Bambou Lounge

There’s a party every evening at Bambou Lounge. With many of Yaoundé’s best DJs on the roster, this bar always delivers, with top urban sets, shisha and a rowdy crowd. You can book reservations for Bamboy Lounge’s themed parties on its website and it’s a top spot for Cameroon’s hottest musicians.

Circle Club

It’s okay to take off your shoes here, it’s that chilled by the small pool, where visitors relax and enjoy the sun. Circle Club has a restaurant and a night club that opens at midnight. At night the terrace transforms into a romantic getaway with a party waiting any time you’re ready.

Cubana

Cubana is one of the best places to dance in Yaoundé. Together with Pyramide and Wine Shop nearby, Biyem-Assi Lac hardly suffers a dip in form. The three places sell beer, whisky and wine and close at 6am most weekends.

Duchess

Since opening in 2012, Duchess has built a classic brand that attracts clients who prefer to drink where they can hold a conversation. The drinks menu also reflects this, with aged wines and whiskies, champagne and vodka. Clients can sit on the terrace, the small tables on the ground floor, or try the lounge upstairs.

Yao Ba

Yao Ba is a place where you can enjoy food, drinks and live performances. It’s a bit pricey but backs it up with excellent service. The place attracts a fancy crowd and lots of business people, so dressing formal is common. It has a gaming room away from the restaurant and bar.

JC Bastos

People come to JC Bastos for its cocktails, beer and some of the best rotisserie in Cameroon. It draws a lot of pool players and the young, fashionable crowd of the city. You can have your chicken and drink outside if you want to enjoy the sight of people and cars going across Bastos.

Route 66

Route 66 is an American bar in Bastos that serves pizza, burgers and sandwiches. The design, darts and pool table make it friendly and fun. The bar is a top attraction for foreign visitors.

Olympia Snack Bar

Olympia draws in a huge crowd every day, thanks to its loud music that plays until the wee hours of the morning. It can get crowded and a little tricky to order, so keep that in mind before heading to the bar.

Black & White, Yaounde
